I wouldn't use those hooks when stropping tho, I like it a little more secure, but the style of it is fun!
yeah im thinking the same thing. but if it dosent work ill see if i can bend them abit.
Moved out into the sticks last yr,have taken up going to farm and barn sales,i got this thing,hand forged, very crude, two bux,not a clue as to what it is.
My first thought was,damn, that would be a great strop hanger:) someday.

Looks like an old style quick release for horses and such, in case of fire.
