    was just random serching the web and found this awsome looking cast iron hanger.. 8 bucks shipped. i think its gonna look great with my strops on it.

    I wouldn't use those hooks when stropping tho, I like it a little more secure, but the style of it is fun!

    Moved out into the sticks last yr,have taken up going to farm and barn sales,i got this thing,hand forged, very crude, two bux,not a clue as to what it is.
    My first thought was,damn, that would be a great strop hanger someday.

    Looks like an old style quick release for horses and such, in case of fire.

    Or maybe sheep when I lived in Idaho I was a stump trainer,know alot about sheep
