Default Strop Hardware (Metal Clasp Plates with Screws)

So, this may be a question that's been answered, but I couldn't find much.

Where can I find a new supplier of of the clamping, hanging hardware used on old strops (and some new ones)? Anyone have a source for these? I have re-used some old ones where the strop was a lost cause, and I've made replacements out of other materials, but I remember watching a clip of the Japanese Master Kanayama strops, and he was using cool butterfly ones, and I can't find them anywhere - probably because I don't know the real name for them.

    Anyone got anything? Thanks!

Can't really help you Joel, but I wonder if strop makers/suppliers have specific sub-contractors
who specialise in these doo-dads ?
Other than that, have you looked through leathercraft catalogues like Tandy ?

Yeah, I found some on the bay, but they look pretty cheap. I am hoping to find a supplier of some higher quality ones.
