Thanked: 25How to correct a ridge on the strop?
I'm using a relative new strop (4+ months) that has a crown running the length of it.
The blade will not lay full contact across the mild crown. Pressure could help, but I not willing to try that.
The surface also feels hard, or what the effects of glossy finish would be.
It is an English Bridle 3".
One thought is the the 3 anchor screws are not dead even, exerting more draw down the center.
Whatever, I need a plan to flatten it.
Rubbing with a bottle would have a limiting effect IMO.
I may need to do a heavy flat pressing after a dressing/treatment.
I would like not to screw it up.
Ideas?
