Thanks to everyone, I plan on using a hook around waist height and if that doesn't work then I'm doing the door knob method.
I got a robe hook from Lowes and installed it slightly higher that waist height next to the bathroom sink.

One of my strops has a ring that slips over the lever style knobs in my bathroom quite nicely. For the ones that don't have the ring, I hook them over the middle hinge of the door.
Just got a hook from home depot, plan on installing it tonight. Again, thanks to everyone for the help I'll let everyone know how I do with it.
I hang mine on a hook installed 52" (mid-chest height) above the bathroom floor. When I first started stropping, I used to have it hanging on a make-shift loop system I made out of shoe laces, about 60" above my closet floor. When I transferred to the bathroom, I found that I preferred the lower height.
I hang mine high out of reach when not in use,
