    Default Strop alert.

Well these past two weeks have seen me adding two new strops to my collection a Bison Premium Horsehide 2.5" which I'm pleasantly surprised with as my biggest deal breaker with all strops is the draw I like a light smooth draw but with a certain amount of detectable friction, now there are a few strops out there with these charactersitics that suit my style and feel of stropping one being my Kanayama 8000 another my Tony Miller Heirloom 2 Horsehide and now the Bison Premium Horsehide is another a very nice strop, and now there's another strop that I've just recieved from Adam of the Invisible edge in the UK a custom spalted beech handle flax backed made from super leather whatever that maybe? firstly I'm going to say it's very unlike any hanging strop I've ever tried but in a very good way, because of the construction the leather and the flax linen are bonded coupled with the spalted Beech handle it makes the strop feel more like you are stropping on a paddle strop rather than a hanging strop which I must admit I like, the Flax linen and leather are both very smooth and beautifully finished, I've stropped a few razors the leather as very nice characteristics of the above mentioned strops and no doubt will definitely improve with use.
