Hey what happened to the horse shell leather - is that the broken old strop you borrowed parts from?

Yes, the "Horse Shell Leather" strop was the broken one I took the hanger hardware from. It has many slices in it and is pretty rough and cracked but I didn't throw it out, maybe I will need small pieces of leather from it for something else. I needed a slightly longer screw to make the hanger work with the new piece of leather and fire hose linen.

Tried it out today and it works great, performs as I had hoped it would. Light to medium/light draw, feels good to use and had a very nice shave.
