Default My Neil Miller multi component strop.

I'm not sure if I ever put this one up, so if I have please feel free to take it down.

A few photos of my multi-component double-sided magnetic bed strop, made by the late Neil Miller, straight razor restorer historian and one of the most knowledgeable gentlemen to ever grace our craft, I do occasionally use the strop, I must start using it a little more often.

The strop comes with 6 components.
    Soft Horeshide medium draw
    Soft Latigo medium-heavy draw
    Dried russet Cowhide medium draw
    Linen
    Hard wool felt
    Balsa with Chromium Oxide

Neils work was first class, and his knowledge of this craft was second to none. I am privileged to have known him, albeit through SRP and emails, and will always treasure my Niel Miller strop.

That is something that would ultimately become a family heirloom.

    Thanks for sharing that, Jamie!
Neil was likely the sharpest dude I have known. I wonder how many of those sets he made?
I feel blessed to have called him a friend and to also have unique examples of his fine work.
