Which one if only one or which one first.

Both are fine products. Get the one that looks
most like a strop to your eye. Beauty is in the eye
    of the beholder.

The TM may still have a practice strop available for a couple bucks more.
Since stropping is a skill having a practice strop is a good thing for a beginner.

Are you a beginner, or just looking for a new strop? I love the results from my SRD strop, it's a beaut... But the Practice strop along with teh TM is an invaluable tool for starting...

I personally have a TM red latigo (and wool felt [.5 diamond spray]), a TM Horsehide and Nylon (debating crox'ing this) and a SRD Bridle... I feel the bridle mostly does the job of the latigo and horsehide, it's great for moving quickly, or being lazy. But the results from both Latigo and Horsehide are just amazing.

If You're beginning, get the TM Red Latigo and practice strop. If you just want another strop (I can sympathize) I'd recommend an SRP Bridle.

    Good Luck.

    Cheers,
    Jeremy
