I am just getting started and am looking for a good strop to start with, but won't break the bank....Especially if I am going to possibly damage it with learning. I also don't want to ruin the razor too with something too cheap...

I would say the filly for $20 over at ruprazor or get a strop from tony miller and add on the practice strop for $7( i think this is the correct price)
I think cheapest one you can buy . just buy for practice . Anyway you will nick it etc. After learning you can go and buy anything you like.hope this helps
Sounds good....I know that from reading that all strops are not alike...is there a huge difference in the $20 one over at ruprazor and the ones you see on Ebay? I have also learned from reading to stay away from Zeepk brand of anything so there shouldn't be problems there, but there are other stops out there on Ebay that I have seen and was curious to know if they will ruin my razors? Thanks for the replies so far...

the illinois strops are good and inexpensive, and come with canvas component, which i think is important.
