I feel SAD kicking in!!!!

Strop Acquisition Disorder is getting to me. I have a 3" red latigo and feel like i need diff strop, what do you folks use for a daily stropping routine?? Or should i ignore the SAD and stick to what i have??

Sounds like a decent strop. I've actually gone through more
strops than any other piece of gear, mostly because I notice
a big difference in their performance. This isn't helping your
SAD, but if you want to (and have the money), it can be lots
of fun to try out different ones.

I recommend some of the premium leathers from SRD, with
the nylon webbing as the second strop.

Also, although it looks like he's ramping down on production,
Tony Miller at thewellshavedgentleman.com has always made
superb artisan strops.

It is a slippery slope. I have the SRD premium 1 with the webbed fabric and it is great. The Tony Miller with the horse/latigo/linen and love it too. I've got a number of HandAmerican strops and they are bad to the bone. A dozen or so vintage strops ...... do you see where this can become a problem ? I'm lusting after an SRD long English Bridle.

I have the TM linen/latigo/horse combo and i think it is great. I also have a SRD long english bridle with nylon and a SRD Premium 1. And that combo is killer and puts a fantastic finish on the razor. If you can afford it,get it. Either way you cannot go wrong. And BTW i use them all.. and i enjoy them all

Jimmy.. just go ahead and buy the long english bridle. That followed by the Premium 1 is unbelievable. I strop 20 on the webbed fabric followed by 50 on the english bridle and finish with 30 on the premium 1. The results are fantastic
