Enough or too much?

Gents.
I would appreciate your thoughts on this.
Have I put enough or maybe too much CrO on this Linen Strop?
I purchased a stick of it from SRD.
The material I've added it to is an SRD strop made of Linen.
What I did was add a light pressure going in an X pattern.
After that I tried to smear it out a bit with my hands.
Any thoughts?

Try it and see if you like the results. In the excellent tutorial Josh Earl did he stressed less is more and advised against making it look like a pool table. If you read that whole thread Tony Miller mentions that if you get too much on you can wipe it off with a rag. OTOH, my loom from Mastro Livi is solid green like a pool table and works well. So it is a matter of trying it and adjusting the amount to what is working for you.

I am with Jimmy on this one.
My bench strop is as green as crass and works fine. As long as the right pressure is applied and you do not apply too many strokes you will be fine.

I got mine from SRD as well and Don suggested I be generous with it...so, I did and mine looks like a "pool table" (almost) and it works wonders on polishing my edges...mind you, I don't do this everyday

As long as you are not planning to sharpen blade with chro2.

Thanks Sham! I've just added 3 or 4 more crosses.
I'm not planning on sharpening, just to maintain my edges a bit.
If it dulls to much, I'll be off to the Escher I got from you

After you apply the paste you should wait 24 hrs before stropping your razor. The real test is does the paste come off on the razor during stopping this can mean that you have used too much. The idea is to polish your razor smoothing out the micro serration's so that the shave is more comfortable. I use this on a hard-wool strop about every fourth time I use a specific razor. My face really appreciates the extra attention. Hope this helps!
