Kanayama 30k as a daily strop

Hey guys,

Would the Kanayama 30k be sufficient to serve as my daily strop without any other strop or?

Sure it would. That Craftsman strop you posted pix of would too if it has a decent linen component. Any quality strop will do. Back in the heyday of straight razors I doubt if the average guy needed more than one strop in his lifetime.

Thanks! Anyone know how long it takes JimR to get his strops from the supplier? I noticed on his site that he does not keep them in stock.

Jim would tell you for sure, but it sounds like you won't be able to get Kanayama Strops until aftre the new year.

Lucky! The Kanayamas are great strops, probably not functionally better than any other but they just have that feels-good-to-hold handmade feel to them.
