Rotating stop material?

I dont know if this has been covered before but I havent seen it. Does anyone rotate their leather and/or linen of their strops to keep wear even. My leather doesnt really show any wear yet but I have been noticing the linen is starting to show some on the side that always gets used. It would be easy to remove the screws and turn around and put back together maybe even flipping it all the way over, which would give four different working surfaces to prolong the wear. What do you guys think, worth it or no need?
