Don't reflect too hard when stropping, or you may end up reflecting upon how one strop became two shorter ones.... :D
But yes, stropping can be very relaxing. Many repetitive actions are: for example, I am an avid crocheter and find it a very meditative and relaxation-inducing activity.

Not relaxing. You have to concentrate to avoid nicks and get a good result. But is sure is a satisfying job.

I find it to be incredibly relaxing and meditative. I love stropping.
No I don't, but I do find honing to be relaxing.
