Default My second Lipshaw Microtome strop refurbished

Today I picked up a parcel from the post sent to me by our favorite genius Mr. Neil Miller. Neil was good enough to create 3 new Lipshaw leather panels for me for this project.
I picked up a second Lipshaw because they are simply the best stropping system ever made I.M.H.O.
My original Lip. is located in my sitting room attached to the wall. I wanted a second Lip. for my basement workshop, so I dont have to climb the stairs all the time. Ive taken the advise from my good friend Tom who suggested setting it up seated level (simply brilliant idea) as well as getting me hooked on Lipshaw Microtomes in the first place. I stripped the units old wood base and fabricated an aluminum one as well as an alum. stand base. Also I liberated some steel tubes and flatbar to weld at either end of the tubes to tap mounting screws. It turned out wonderfuly.
Thanks to my friends Tom & Neil.
    Thanks for looking.
