Thread: Crescent City Razors News for February 2022

Well, I have been busier than a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs for the past year. The wife decided last year that we needed to buy a bigger house. Unfortunately that meant instead of having to keep up with repairs and maintenance of my boat and our two vehicles and "A" house, as well as my trading and razor activities, I now had ANOTHER house to get fit to live in, and this one to get fit to rent out. All that, along with issues with my Chinese supplier, sent my razor honing/selling activity into sabbatical. Things are starting to look up, though. I still have a couple hundred Gold Dollars to work with, but I doubt I will be buying any more of them. When those are sold out, they will just be sold out. Too bad. I thought they were a good alternative for a newbie who doesn't know how to pick out an under $40 shave ready vintage razor.

Anyway I hope to have some fleabay listings up within a month, for shave ready Gold Dollars. Meanwhile I may be finishing some NOS blanks and selling them, as well as making a few one-offs. I finally have 120/240V in the new detached garage, now, and I am building the new workbench next week, then moving the grinders and HT oven and stuff there. I may even build me a gas forge and set up a proper anvil.
