Default The Barber of the Bishops

This Italian master barber closes shop after 60 years in business. Barbers that still use a real straight razor are an endangered species...Oh, and his stropping is not too shabby

Ok there are only two reasons I can see for this

Either a.) there are too many people learning to wetshave themselves and less need for Barbers
or b.) there are way too many people in this world who never experienced a true wet shave and need to be awaken!

I'm assuming it's the latter... although the world wide shortage of razors might suggest the initial

Either way it's just a matter of time before wet-shaving becomes the norm again. Everything seems to come full circle and from what I see it seems to have already began.

    Just my random rambling thoughts....

I like watching videos of long-time barbers at work. Their movements are so smooth and accurate. The hand stropping was particularly impressive. Thanks for posting the video, Badgister.
