Need new scale a boker New York straight razor
I replaced the scales with replacement wooden one from dovo. The problem is the tang is thicker than a dovo. When I close the razor it hits on one side. Help?

Thanked: 2027You may be able to adjust them by furthur peening, what most do not realize.one size will not fit all, properly scaling blades is an art, good luck.

I already tried that. The wedge needs to be wider. I would rather replace the scale than modify the one I have.

I don't want to mess up the nice brass pins from dovo. I can use the scales on another razor. Just thought someone is into making scales
