Good Evening Gents, and Happy Saturday!

Just wanted to share my latest restoration; This ones all original- it was only repinned!
Got the old girl off the bay on a make and offer, i saw it go around once with a very high priced BIN, i messaged the seller with a reasonable offer, they accepted and it ended up being my father's day gift! (Thanks kids!)
She was a little rough and in need of some TLC, but all in all for a razor that has a 200th Birthday somewhere in the near future it wasnt too bad, i will add the before pics in a later post.

When restoring the blade it took it to a full polish and then backed it up to a satin finish as i felt it better suited this style razor.
I did the satin finish at 1500 grit Wet with WD-40 for a really nice glow. The satin finish is very hard to photograph, but i think the last picture shows the finish best, in person the entire razor has that finish. After restoring the blade and the scales i repinned it in brass as i had no nickle silver on hand, all in all i think it looks pretty nice.

As always thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of your week end!
