Thanks for showing another way to fix those oversize pivot holes. I have used Devcon metal epoxy and drilled a proper sized hole through it. The other way was to peen the end of a solid piece of round brass stock, cut it so it was a bit long for the hole and peened the other end in place, filed both ends flat and drilled the right sized hole. Your method would be much simpler.

I've done the brass sleeve method and the epoxy fill/redrill method... both worked fine and I would still use them if the oversized pivot were small enough to snug up with a sleeve or so out of round that refilling it was the best choice.
This method seems to be more convenient: using washers that you probably already have if you're repinning, not having to reshape materials, no waiting time for drying, and no mistakes redrilling a pivot hole crooked.
