Default Question re finishing stabilized wood

I am looking for some experience with stabilized wood. When members here use it for scales, do you finish it with CA or another finish, or simply polish it's surface up to mirror? If you use CA, why? Does it still need it? thx- John

PS Meant to ask this during the chat, but forgot...

Thanks Joe. I have yet to try my first stabilized scales, but I'll be ordering a few pieces of stock this week from your source. Thanks again - John
