George Butler restore
I've been working on this Keen razor for a bit since i picked it up from the flea market. i've read some materials on the forum here, so it was not difficult to make it look decent.
i used desert camo kirinite and nickel pins. i didnt go full polish on the scales because they have a lot of depth and i didnt want it to be too flashy.
also, it took me a couple tries to pin in right, but i think i did alright.
overall, i'm pleased with it so far, its a good razor to hold. i'm looking foreward to shaving with it.
now all thats left is to do is get the edge repaired. debating going with a rounded point or shortening the razor to make it a square point.
purchased it for $7 like this, with chipped edge and cracked scales.
did some sanding and polishing to get it here.
cut and sanded the scales.
pinned it together and here it is.
