I have a serious problem and it is one that has afflicted me all of my life. Not bragging but quite the contrary, more or less not living up to the potential that a 180IQ has afforded me. Just because I have an IQ that puts me in the range of most geniuses does NOT mean that I am intelligent by any stretch of the imagination. All it does is make it harder for me to cope in this world. Adding on top of that the fact that I am ADD and OCD creates even more obstacles. The best way to put it is that I am scatter brained or a flibbertigibbet (real word, look it up), just one step away from the looney bin. The reason I give you this non-pertinent information is so that you might understand where this next bit comes from. Because my brain is constantly working and never shuts up I usually get overwhelmed with all the ideas that flood in. One of the things that has been continually creeping into my thoughts is the use of MDF(Micro-defect Free) cement for items that it would not neccessarily be considered for such as scales and brush handles. MDF cement is a combination of calcium aluminate cement and polyvinyl alcohol. It has high strength and moisture resistant properties that would make it an excellent, if not unusual, choice for a material to use in those applications. I have also been toying with the idea of using it to manufacture hones. Due to a clerical error I find myself in possession of over two pounds of Chromium Oxide and not a lot of ideas of what to do with it. I was thinking that a mixture of CrOx and MDF cement in a mold with pressure added might just produce a usable hone. Just one of those things that keeps running around in my head attempting to drive me absolutely batty so I put it out here for your consideration, ridicule and/or thoughts.
