Many many thanks to every one of you. This is a learning curve as stated above. I'm waiting the new scales on the mail right now. I will sand with 1500/2000/and steel wool & wd 40 may be. For finish I'm thinking jewelry polisher or something like that. I have to say I appreciate all of your comments and every comment is a new info for me. I will consider all of your sayings in the future.

Me too it wasn't my intention to busy chops either. That advise came from a 85 year old watch maker. Seriously that man was full of yoda like wisdom. God rest his soul
Sorry for late reply, I finished hand sanding with 1500/2000 papers(dry). The blade looks nice right now.

Very well done!! She cleaned up nicely.
For finishing I used Metylan metal polish, it seems polisher made very little difference but I'm done with the blade right now. The scales will arrive Monday or Tuesday most probably and I will finish restoration. I will post finalized pictures after I rescale it. See you soon.
