Finnished my first pair of scales today! :)
I bought the razor cheep online and was also one of the first razors I honed myself. It had a some ugly plastic scales so this is defenitely a upgrade! ;)
The wood is guayacan that my father brought home from Ecuador once.

looks very fine. well done for first set of scales, hope when I get round to trying they end up anywhere near as good.

Next set try and thin them down more. It helps with the overall look.

Shape looks great. For future reference if you are going to make more scales, it is better to use a wedge rather than spacer. When spacer is used the scales may bow in with time. With a wedge, the scales will not deform.
Nice clean lines and very cool looking wood.
