Thread: Got me a Hans

My Otto Deutsch Hans arrived today from ebay. I thought it was gonna be in worse shape than it is. I got it really cheap. The first 2 pics is what it looked like right out of the package. 3rd-5th I only spent 5 mins rubbing the scales and blade with Mother's (crappy cell phone pics). A lot of dirty and crap came off it so far. I think the blade will be fine sanded down since it has a little frown. I can't wait to get started and un pin it. I think I'm gonna do the blade all by hand and not on the wheel. I don't want to mess this one up.
