changing pins on a staright scales

Need repairs to several scales on lots of razors,have no idea how to take out old pins and put in some new onesWhat a mess have razor 5/8,9/16.11/16,13/16,3/4.7/8 and one 1" blades.I think what I need is a pinning kit,only # I know is the 1/16" pin,but the bigger the blade the pins get bigger,have very simple tools,plus a dremel tool kit.
Do not know where to order this kind of kit to fit all this razor blades.After this comes the buying of the scalesmercy they are high$$$$ Was looking at scales from $ 16--------------??After looking around the Chinese are selling their razors some with nice wooden black handles for $6.95 free mailing,its the scales I am looking at for 6.95 ---forget the blade.They are starting to get better about their steel,but not that great.Would appreciate any help,thank you.james

Maggard (my spelling is bad) supplies they have a web site. I got some supplies from them. you might want to ck with some of the guys here in the classifieds. Also there are some videos on how to change the pins. There is one by Lynn Abram and there is others with videos on how to do most anything with the straight razors. Check them out. That's how I got started in miner repair.

I always use some WD-40 before I start any procedure. Hand tools are slower, it allows you to re-evaluate your progress or lack there of without to much damage being done.
Once apart post pictures and other members can assist you with pin size questions.

I have only run across one razor that didn't have a 1/16" pin regardless of blade size. The problem with "store bought" scales is do they fit?
