Default Wade & Butcher & Amboyna Burl

My latest restoration. The blade was a rust bucket and I picked it up for a song off eBay. It's now mirror finished. The scales are stabilized Amboyna Burl. Brass pins and a (painstakingly) tapered brass spacer. BTW, anybody have some tips/jigs for tapering spacers like the pros?

The blade required (2) 400 grit flapwheels, lots of time on a sisal wheel with emory (black) compound, and then sewn wheel/green compound to bring up a mirror. Buffers can really do some quick magic, but can kill you if you're not careful.

That looks fabulous. I hope I can do as good when I get the blades I'm waiting for, for my own restoration projects.
