Balance

Hey lads,

I recently purchased this razor here.

It's a wedge and it feels very unbalanced compared to my other razors, is there anything that can be done to correct this? New (heavier) scales?

Or is it that wedges feel more unbalanced due to the extra metal? It shaved well enough but just didn't feel like I had the control like I do with my other razors ( all full hollow or extra hollow grinds).

Lead wedge.

I meant that you could put a lead wedge in the scales.

Ah cheers, my mistake, I thought you were making a joke about the heaviness of the razor. Cheers for the idea

Another alternative is practice. Use it for a while and the balance may seem just fine after getting used to heavier blades.

Yeah I had wanted more practice anyway, just to get my head and hands around the different dynamics. I hadn't considered that balance may come into that.
