At the recommendation of the resources sticky in this forum I went and ordered eight 4" sewn buffing wheels from Caswell.
I am going to pick up the Harbor Freight 6" buffer this weekend or next and some of their compound and give it a shot.

Only thing I will add is, wear eye protection, and always be aware of rotation and orientation of your razor's edge.

A mask too, buffin stuff can make the boogers dark pretty fast and might want to avoid buffing compound in the lungs...
Thanks guys. All things I will follow.
I am not a rookie to working with metal as I was studying to be a machinist in high school and stopped pursuing it too early.
Should have ordered some grease less compound from them also. The Harbor Freight compound won't do much for rust. Be careful its the most dangerous part of working with razors. Does not take much to yank them out of your hands.
