Default Ordered some sewn buffing wheels from Caswell

At the recommendation of the resources sticky in this forum I went and ordered eight 4" sewn buffing wheels from Caswell.
I am going to pick up the Harbor Freight 6" buffer this weekend or next and some of their compound and give it a shot.

Only thing I will add is, wear eye protection, and always be aware of rotation and orientation of your razor's edge.

+1 to this and have quench water at hand - hollow grounds heat up remarkably quickly. Wear an apron if you've got one, a welding apron is ideal.

A mask too, buffin stuff can make the boogers dark pretty fast and might want to avoid buffing compound in the lungs...

Should have ordered some grease less compound from them also. The Harbor Freight compound won't do much for rust. Be careful its the most dangerous part of working with razors. Does not take much to yank them out of your hands.
