Flush cutters which one?
Looking to get a new set of flush cutters would like a few endorsements first as they can be rather expensive.

Thanked: 13252I buy the cheapest ones they have at Harbor Freight, then I put the bottoms on my buffers and polish them up
Tried the stupid expensive ones, Tried the middle priced ones, and they are no better then the ones I pay $3 for
You simply have to line up the two sides and polish them up regardless of what price you pay

Whatever you buy you need to make sure that there are no airgaps between the cutting jaws when they are closed.

Thanked: 3215I use the Plato flush cutters, they have thin blades and hold the edge well. I get them from a tool guy at a local Antique Swapmeet, I think I paid 4-5 bucks.
I have seen them on line for as low as 2-3 dollars and as high as $20.
I polish the back on the buffer with 600 and Chrome Oxide.
