Finally finished the w.g. wilton monster!!!
I finally finished my W.G. Wilton 9/8 chopper. All I use is Mothers Polish on the blade to avoid removing what's left of the etching. It's set in translucent Buffalo scales with a brass wedge that ended up looking more like a spacer to keep the weight up on the rear end. Then to top it off I used solid bullseye collars again to keep the weight up on the rear end.
It has a smooth operation that I was never able to get real stiff how I like them but it centers about as good as it's going to get with those wonky grinds.
I was also asked for a shave report so I'll post that as soon as possible.
