Thread: Another Salvage job

One of my favorite pastimes is salvaging things that most folks would just toss out.

Picked up this Eliot a while back, for about the value of the scales.

This is a perfect example of what NOT do do. Inspection revealed that somebody had been cleaning up the blade with a dremel tool. The missing chunks of steel are clean and rust free, so they are very recent. Another blade destroyed by careless and unskilled hands.

Can I save it? Lets find out!
