Question from the Rookie, Seems as though my razor begins sharp at the beginning of the shave, but gets dull after 20 or so strokes. I have been following the various techniques, but face still raw after the shave. We need another meet!!!

Im willing to go to a meet again but days off are not often. As far as your razor going dull after such a little amount of time, id say it wasnt very sharp to start with. But im new and dont know much. Start a new thread and see what you get for info.
Great idea, except, I'm not sure how to begin a new thread. Thanks for a reply.
And you are probably right that the razors are not sharp enough. I'm working on that, but do not seem to be getting anywhere.
:rofl2:

@bluesman7, I wanted to give him a bit of help but it just couldn't work out with my schedule. Hope you can help him out.
Bluesman7, what is the best way to contact you? I do not want to impose on your time, but would appreciate your advice.
Using the coping saw is probably going to increase your feel for what you're doing. Later on, when you acquire power tools, you will have a much better appreciation for the process. Just a theory.
