Thanked: 3215SUMMER DUST MASK
So, summer is coming and in So. Cal have already had, some 90 degree days.
When it gets hot, I have a hard time wearing a dust mask, so I reach for a paper mask. I also use a strong fan blowing dust across and away from me, combined with a tight-fitting mask, works well.
I have a few, large 3m masks with replicable filters, and use them for extended buffing sessions, but on a hot day, when the sweat is rolling down you face, it is hard to Suit Up, especially for a quick buffing job. I grab paper.
I keep paper masks in an inexpensive, air tight, throw-away plastic storage container near the buffers, it keeps the dust off them. I used to keep them in a large Ziplock bag but the plastic box is easier and quicker to use. Easier and Quicker means, I will use it.
But, I know I really should use a better mask, and have been looking for a good inexpensive well-fitting option.
I have been looking at the Ellipse P-100, (About $25 with replaceable filters, about $15
I was wondering about, other options, looking for light weight, inexpensive/repaceable in the ($20-40 range) and well-fitting/filtering.
Something you would wear on a 90+ degree day.
What are you using?
