Default Suggestions for cleaning up an old Taylor Eye Witness

This razor shaves quite well, but could use some cosmetic TLC. Any and all suggestions, even if they suggest just leaving it as is, will be received with thanks.

It looks like a previous owner really went at the cutting edge. There is a good bevel with which to shave, but it looks very uneven and I don’t know if I can or should do much with it.

There is also a black spot just under the engraving on the blade that I think I might just have to live with unless someone has a suggestion.

With that much hone wear, I'd leave it as is, if it were mine.

I think most of us have a ugly duckling, in the rotation.
There's plenty other razors out there to choose from, but bright and shiny doesn't mean its gonna shave any better, it is what it is. JMHO its like putting lipstick on a pig...

I agree with outback. Just hone it and enjoy.
