    Default Brown tinge

Looking at a beautiful razor today. It has never been used so is brand new. However, the blade is showing a brownish patina. The seller purchased it about a year ago as a gift and never gave it to the recipient. I posted about the best picture I could get of it as its extremely faint. Any help on: is this repairable and if so how would be great. This razor at its selling price is unbelievably good and I would love to get it.

Honestly that could be just about anything. Strop it and see if it comes off. A dozen passes on your pant leg should be good.
