Thanked: 603[SOLVED] Refreshing Lettering on Scales
Years of usage make "beausage", but I'd like to refresh the lettering on the scales of several of my razors (see example, below). Can I assume that there are pens out there that can be used to do the job? Recommendations?
Wouldn't this little fella look so much better, with his name "standing tall"?Last edited by JBHoren; 09-04-2018 at 05:24 PM.
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

There is a thread here some where that tells how to do that. I don't think its a complicated lengthy process just can't remember what it is. I need to find it (when I get time) because I have a Genco Easy Aces I'd like to re-do the lettering on.

JB, I used RubNBuff on my Spike and lots of others. Works easily in hot-stamps and tang-stamps as well.....

My Hobby Lobby carries only the silver and gold.
I have some ruby en-route from Ebay as well.
Takes a tiny bit. Mine is out for delivery at present.
If you would like, I will add a demo on how I like to do it tonight...
The silver is great too!

Thanked: 636I use rub and buff in gold. It comes in a small tube. You rub it in and wipe off the excess. Bought it on line at Amazon I think.

Sadly, the postals went up the other side of the road and went to eat.
Typical of these chods. Day after a holiday they cannot cope.
If you want to see bitching, google 77080 Post Office yelp reviews.
