Default New life for an old WB

Got this old Wade & Butcher about 4 weeks ago. It was fugly, broken scales and lots of rust and stains..... and it was gooey also. Really didn't want to handle it without gloves. But, with a bit of TLC I think it looks much better. I should have taken pics when it came in the mail..... whoooooo wheeeee! Anyway, here's my second full resto job. New bocote scales, brass pinned, blade cleaned and honed. Passed the HHT with ease.

    Great work !!

The blade looks fantastic... do you glue the spacer on scales like that?

Scales have brass liners and they are glued with Gorilla glue and the spacer is wood and glued before drilling for pins. Finish is CA (super glue)
