Nice razor. You cut the pin on top of the washer?How did you not mark up the scales? Nice work as always.

I am not "Saving the scales to use, I need them to see how they function, it is a Double "Butterfly" razor and I want an idea of who those smart old farts made it work, so I can recreate new Bone scales for them..
Something I learned when I first started restoring razors 16 years ago, "Those old farts knew their stuff" learn what they did before tearing things apart :)
Also if you look close at the second pic you will see barely any marks that couldn't be sanded out :) slow and steady wins every time ... Normally I would have cut the pin to the inside of the scales but with the double tang from two razors I couldn't do that.. This is going to be a fun one
I have heard those were made by French prisoners on a barge in a river, down by the river! :D
Every one I have ever looked at would not work well at all. IMO of course!
