Nice razor. You cut the pin on top of the washer? How did you not mark up the scales? Nice work as always.

Thanked: 13245I am not "Saving the scales to use, I need them to see how they function, it is a Double "Butterfly" razor and I want an idea of who those smart old farts made it work, so I can recreate new Bone scales for them..
Something I learned when I first started restoring razors 16 years ago, "Those old farts knew their stuff" learn what they did before tearing things apart
Also if you look close at the second pic you will see barely any marks that couldn't be sanded out slow and steady wins every time ... Normally I would have cut the pin to the inside of the scales but with the double tang from two razors I couldn't do that.. This is going to be a fun oneLast edited by gssixgun; 07-10-2022 at 02:46 AM.

I have heard those were made by French prisoners on a barge in a river, down by the river!
Every one I have ever looked at would not work well at all. IMO of course!
