Yes, be very careful when you try to straighten it as they are very brittle. There are several methods to try, and I am sure that if you search the forum, you will find them.

I would very much advise against this
But there are two methods
Here https://sharprazorpalace.com/videos/...ten-tangs.html
And using the Three Bars and a Vise Method Gotta find that one it is harder to search
nope not doing that lol
I have had more failure than success with that. If it's one you care about much think long and hard first and resign yourself to the possibility that you will probably snap it. It's like a tablesaw accident: it happens so fast and once it does there's no turning back the clock.
I don't personally see trouble with the torch method that Spazola shows.
But if it is a vintage razor how has it made this many years with a bent tang?

Pretty much. Sucks though it is a jr torrey says gibraltar on the blade.
I’ve straightened tangs using Charlie’s method (with Charlie’s tutoring) and with Glenn’s three bar system.
Both worked well.
The bar method takes a LOT longer.
After mounting in the vise I will give the vise a slight bump in pressure.
I do this two or three times per day.
After a week the tang is usually straight.
Patience, grasshopper!
I have only used the bar method and had only one bad result because I applied too much pressure too quickly. If you go slow and easy as Dave says you should be fine. Mind you, you will never forget when a tang has an explosive fracture because you were ham handed and going too fast.
