Anyone here who makes wood scales use a 1" belt sander to make fast work of scales? I'm looking for one to really speed up my production. They are pretty hard to find though and not the cheapest (though not a ton of cash). Is it going to make the difference that I think it will? I'm imagining the 8" side grinder will also make 1/8" pieces from 1/4" or a little less very quickly as well. That's a good thing. Does anyone else use one?
