Default Finish razor after shortening the blade.

    Hi

In an earlier post I shown you how I shortened the blade on my KBextra #68 after cracking it while polishibng with a dremel.

Now the rasor is finish and I made new scales. It as a 2¼ cutting edge and I must say after honing it and shaving this morning it's a good shaver.
The shorter blade is easier around the neck area.

    Here are some pictures.

The wood is Amarante (you call it somethinmg else) and the wedge Maple. The finish is Lines oil. I used nuts, washers and bolts again that I thined down and polish for look. I also thinned washers to .25mm to put The original I find them to thick.

    Great job!

I also like the way you brought out the color in those scales!
