    Default A REAL meatchopper

This W&B is one of the nicest vintage razors I've had the privilege of working on. It's an 8/8, which is a honkin' big blade. Honing it feels like honing a meat cleaver.

The scales are original--I just shined them up a bit. The blade is reground with a high-shine satin finish. My only regret is that I wasn't able to clean the tang better. The customer wanted it kept as original as possible, so I just cleaned what I could reach.

I've never shaved with an 8/8 before. I have a feeling this one might "fail" the first shave test, requiring another round or two of evaluation.

    Josh
