I needed something to finish of the scales that I've shaped after C Utz rough cut them for me and both Renaissance Wax and Tung Oil were recommended. I found both on the Woodcraft site and there's one more or less on my way home from work so I made a list and went over. The spoils:

Vacuum base swivel vise
Tung oil
200 mL can of Renaissance wax (On sale $25 -> $20 incidentally)
Coping saw
Blades
2 each of 800, 1000, 1200, 2000 grit waterproof sandpaper
1/8" sheet of mahogany
1/8" sheet of brazilian cherry

After I finish the mahogany I am all set to screw up my own set of scales 100% of the way.
