Wow, thanks. PM on the way.

It seems like the way to avoid such a mishap is to have the razor resting on something. (maybe with a damp baking soda'd towel, paper towel etc underneath for a heat sink.) lower speed too:)
If that's what you did I'm going to stop searching for my missing box of dremel gizmos.
It's on the way! Be sure to post a pic of the finished product :tu
Damn, that sucks but I'm truly happy those flying pieces didn't hit you in the eyes! I do hope you were wearing some kind of eye protection. If you didn't then buy some. How do you use your Dremel?
I use the Multi Vise attachment. Worth every penny and has been a great investment. You can use the multi vise that comes with it or attach your Dremel to it with the supplied accessories. That's how I mostly use it.
Looks very impressive and professional!
That is pretty cool. I'll have to look into it. I was wearing eye protection, and consider my self extremely lucky the 3 razor shards decided to fly away from me. I don't have any kind of vice (yet), so I was holding the dremel in one hand and the razor in the other. I won't do that again. I've been looking around for a vice.
The cheapest would be around the $25.00 price tag. Here's a link to a store.
You can also Google 'multi vise dremel'.
Really worth the investment!
