    Default Salvaging a burnt Blade?

Based on the thread I made here
    http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...ned-blade.html

The razor has suffered. BUT from the responses, It may be possible to bring this blade back to shave level. Since the sole purpose of the razor was to practice honing technique, Is it in fact still possible to renew this blade with LOTS of honing or grinding?
If it is possible, how shall I go about it? What type of hone should I use?

    Thanks

The coarsest you have. Protect the spine so you don't remove material there. Try to keep the edge even/straight so the proportions remain relatively as they are now, then gradually erode the edge back to where the blue ends.

After that, then hone down to sharpen with finer and finer grits as normally.
